Can I set a newly created collection as default?

Yes. You can set any collection as the default. When a collection is marked as the default, new saved articles will be stored directly in that collection.

Mobile

  1. Open Collections from the app.
  2. Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) at the top-left to show the full list of collections.
  3. Long-press the collection you want to set as the default; a list of options will appear to the right of that collection.
  4. Tap the Mark as Default option (often shown as a tick).
  5. The collection will be marked as the default. Future saved articles will be added to this collection automatically.

Web

  1. Open Collections from the sidebar or top menu to expand the full list of collections.
  2. Click the ellipsis button (three dots) next to the collection you want to change to open the collection menu.
  3. Select Mark as Default from the menu.
  4. The collection will be marked as the default and future saved articles will be stored there automatically.
