How to mark a collection as Default?

Mobile App

  1. Open Collections: Tap Collections on the bottom bar, then tap the Collections icon in the top-left corner to view your collections.
  2. Choose a collection: Long-press the collection you want to set as default to reveal additional options.
  3. Set as default: Tap the Pin icon (the first icon on the right) to mark the collection as the default.
  4. Result: The collection is now the default; future saved articles will go into this collection unless you assign them elsewhere.

Web App

  1. Open Collections: Click Collections in the main menu to expand the collection list.
  2. Choose a collection: Locate the collection you want to set as default in the list.
  3. Set as default: Click the Pin icon that appears next to the collection to mark it as the default.
  4. Result: The collection is now the default; future saved articles will be saved there unless assigned otherwise.

Note

Use the same procedure to unmark a default collection. If you mark a second collection as default, the previously marked collection will automatically be unmarked.
