How to create a new tag?

Mobile

To learn how to assign tags to an article, refer to the documentation for assigning tags to an article.

  1. While saving a new article in the mobile app, the bottom bar changes temporarily and a Tag icon appears on the right.
  2. Tap the Tag icon; a text box will appear along with a list of existing tags.
  3. Type the new tag into the text box to assign it to the article.
  4. A tip labeled Add new tag will appear below the text box. Tap Add new tag.
  5. Tap the Tick sign at the top-right of the screen to confirm and save the new tag.

Note: Tags can only be created while assigning them to an article.

Web (Browser extension)

  1. Open the browser extension from the toolbar. While saving an article, a popup appears at the top-right of the screen with two text boxes labeled Tags and Collections.
  2. Type the new tag into the Tags text box.
  3. Press Enter to create the tag.
  4. Click Save in the popup to save the tag and the article.
