How to assign tags to an article?

Adding Tags

You can add tags when saving an article or to articles you have already saved. Tags can be added on Mobile and Web, and to PDF or HTML articles while viewing in the in-app viewer.

Mobile

While saving

  • When you save an article from the in-app browser, the bottom bar will change momentarily. Tap the down arrow on the right side of the bar.
  • Tap the Add Tags option.
  • Select tags from the list or create a new tag using the create-new-tag option in the tag list.
  • Tap the Save button at the bottom right to finish.

To an already saved article

  • Locate the article in the Recently Saved list on the home page or within the Collections section.
  • Tap the Add Tags icon at the right of the article card.
  • Tap +TAG, then select from existing tags or create a new tag.
  • Tap Save to complete the update.

While viewing (PDF and HTML)

  • Open the article in the in-app viewer and tap the Ellipsis (three dots) at the top right.
  • Choose Add Tags, then select one or more existing tags or create new tags.
  • Tap the Save button at the bottom right to apply the tags.

Web

While saving

  • When you save an article on the WebApp, a popup appears at the top right with two text boxes labeled Tags and Collections.
  • Type into the Tags textbox to select a tag from the dropdown suggestions, or type a new tag and press Enter.
  • Click Save to finish saving the article with the tags.

To an already saved article

  • Find the article in the Recently Saved list or within the Collections section.
  • Hover over the article card; the tag option will appear at the bottom of the card.
  • Click +Tag, then select from existing tags or type a new tag and press Enter.
  • Click Save to apply the tags.

While viewing (HTML)

  • In the viewer menu at the top, click the Tag icon (the third icon from the left).
  • Select tags from the existing list or type new tags and press Enter. You can select multiple tags.
  • Click Save to complete the process.
