What can I do if my Institution has not subscribed to the Article Ordering Service in MyLOFT?
If your institution has not subscribed to the Article Ordering Service
Try the following steps to obtain the article:
- Search your institution's resources
Look for the article in your library catalog and any databases, journals, e-books, or other resources your institution already subscribes to. Use the full citation or DOI to improve search accuracy.
- Request the article through your library
Contact your library's interlibrary loan, document delivery, or help desk by email, phone, or their online request form. Provide the article citation (title, authors, journal name, volume, issue, pages, year) and DOI, and state how you would like to receive it (PDF or print).
- Ask your institution to subscribe to the Article Ordering Service
Suggest that your library or administration subscribe to MyLOFT’s Article Ordering Service to enable seamless access and delivery of articles for users across the institution.
Tip: When requesting the article, include as many details as possible: article title, author names, journal title, volume, issue, page range, year, and DOI. This helps the library locate and deliver the correct item quickly.
