I made a payment for the British Council Digital Library membership but didn’t receive an email with login details. What should I do?

MyLOFT is integrated with the British Council Digital Library using Single Sign-On (SSO). MyLOFT does not manage membership payments, account creation, or email notifications for the British Council Digital Library.
If you paid but did not receive login details
If you have made a payment and did not receive your login details, contact the British Council Digital Library Support Team directly. They are responsible for all subscription, payment, and account-related issues.
Steps to take before contacting support
- Check your email account’s spam, junk, and other folders for any messages from the British Council Digital Library.
- Verify that the payment was completed by checking your bank or payment provider statement and any confirmation message or receipt you received.
- Gather relevant information to share with the support team:
- Full name on the account
- Email address used for the subscription
- Date and amount of the payment
- Payment method (card, PayPal, etc.)
- Transaction or reference number and a copy or screenshot of the payment confirmation or receipt
What to tell the support team
- Explain that you completed payment but did not receive login details.
- Provide the information and documents listed above so they can verify your subscription and send your account details.
Note: MyLOFT cannot access or change British Council Digital Library subscriptions, resend login details, or process refunds. The British Council Digital Library Support Team handles all of those requests.
