My account belongs to the British Council Digital Library and I have forgotten the password to my account. How can I reset my password?
We would like to inform you that you can reset your British Council Digital Library password directly through MyLOFT by following the steps below:
How to Reset Your Password:
- Open the MyLOFT mobile app or access the MyLOFT web app in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, and go to the sign-in page.
- From the institute list, select British Council.
- Click Sign in to British Council Digital Library.
- On the British Council sign-in page, choose your country from the dropdown menu.
- Below the login fields, click Forgot Password.
- On the password reset page, enter your registered email address, confirm it in the next field, and click Submit.
- A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
- Open the email, click the reset link, and set your new password.
- After resetting, return to the MyLOFT app or web app and sign in using your registered email and the new password.

- If you do not receive the password reset email, please check your Spam/Junk folder. If the issue continues, we would recommend contacting the British Council Digital Library support team for further assistance.
