Can I use MyLOFT on multiple devices?
Simultaneous device limit
You can use MyLOFT simultaneously on up to three devices: one Web browser, one Android device, and one iOS device.
Restrictions
- You cannot be signed in on multiple Android devices at the same time.
- You cannot be signed in on multiple iOS devices at the same time.
- You cannot be signed in on multiple Web browsers at the same time.
What happens when you exceed the limit
If you sign in on a second device of the same type, the session on the first device is ended automatically:
- Signing in on a second Android device logs you out of the first Android device.
- Signing in on a second iOS device logs you out of the first iOS device.
- Signing in in a different Web browser logs you out of the first browser session.
Why this restriction exists
This limit is a security measure to protect your Institution or Organization’s subscribed eContent and to prevent misuse or unauthorized access. It helps safeguard both users and the content provided by the Institution or Organization.
