What are the different ways to login into my account?

We would like to inform you that MyLOFT supports four login methods. The availability of each method depends on your institution’s configuration.

  1. Account Created by Your Library Admin

    • You will receive a welcome email at your registered institutional email address with a link to create your MyLOFT password.
    • Set your password using the link.
    • Open the MyLOFT Mobile App or Web App, select your institution, and log in using your email address and password.
  2. Sign-Up (Self-Registration)

    • Open the MyLOFT Mobile App or Web App and select your institution.
    • Tap Sign Up on the login screen and submit the required details.
    • Verify your email by clicking the verification button sent to your inbox.
    • Your account will remain in Pending status until the library admin approves your request.
  3. Google-Based Login

    • Open the MyLOFT Mobile App or Web App and select your institution.
    • Tap Continue with Institutional Google ID.
    • Choose and verify your institutional Google account.
    • Your account request will be sent for admin approval and will remain Pending until approved.
  4. SSO Login (Single Sign-On)

If your institution uses an SSO system:

    • Open the MyLOFT Mobile App or Web App and select your institution from the list.
    • Tap the SSO Login option displayed on the login screen.
    • You will be redirected to your institution’s official login page.
    • Enter your institutional SSO credentials and complete verification.
    • Once authenticated, you will be logged in to your MyLOFT account directly—no separate MyLOFT password is required.

Note: Account approval rules still apply. If your institution requires admin approval, your account may show Pending until the library completes the review.
