What are eBooks in MyLOFT?

Overview

eBooks in MyLOFT are the digital books your institution subscribes to. The eBooks list shows all available titles, and you can filter that list by publisher or open individual titles on the publisher's platform for reading or downloading.

How to view and filter eBooks

  1. Open MyLOFT and go to the eBooks section.
  2. To see all available titles, browse the list or use the search box to find a specific book by title or author.
  3. To filter by publisher:
    1. Open the Filters or Publisher menu.
    2. Select one or more publishers from the list.
    3. Apply the filter to update the results and display only titles from the chosen publisher(s).

How to access an eBook

  1. Select the eBook you want to open from the filtered or full list.
  2. Choose the option to open the title on the publisher's platform (this may be labeled Open, Read, Read on publisher site, or similar).
  3. Follow any on-screen prompts on the publisher's platform. You may need to:
    • Log in with your institution credentials.
    • Accept terms of use or licensing restrictions.
    • Choose reading or download options provided by the publisher.

Notes

  • Access to some titles may be restricted by institutional subscription or licensing rules.
  • If you cannot open a title, contact your institution's library or support team for help with access or authentication.
