While searching eResources via MyLOFT App, I see MyLOFT icon next to search results. What does it indicate?
What the MyLOFT icon indicates
When you see the MyLOFT icon next to a search result, it means that the resource is subscribed to by your institute and you may have full-text access to it.
- Subscribed resource: The item is included in your institute's eResource subscriptions.
- Possible full-text access: Click the search result to check whether full text is available; you may need to sign in with your institutional credentials or use your institution's off-campus access method.
- Web App users: To display the MyLOFT icon in web searches, the MyLOFT Browser Extension must be installed and enabled in your browser.
How to enable the browser extension
- Install the MyLOFT Browser Extension from your browser's extensions or add-ons store, or follow the installation instructions provided by your institution.
- Open your browser's extensions/add-ons manager and ensure the MyLOFT extension is enabled.
- Reload your search page; the MyLOFT icon should appear next to resources subscribed by your institute.
If you believe you should have access but do not see the icon or cannot access full text, contact your library or institutional support for assistance.
