How to listen to an article using the TTS (Text\-To\-Speech) feature?

Mobile App

  1. Open a saved HTML or PDF article in the in-app viewer.
  2. Tap the Ellipsis icon (three dots) in the top-right corner of the viewer, then select Listen (TTS).
  3. An audio player popup appears and begins reading the article aloud.
  4. Use the player controls:
    • Forward button — jump ahead in the narration.
    • Backward button — jump back in the narration.
    • Play/Pause button — pause or resume the speech.
    • Speed control (on the left of the player) — move the slider right to increase speed and left to decrease speed.

Web App

  1. Open a saved HTML article in the in-app viewer.
  2. Click the Listen (TTS) icon located near the top of the viewer (it is the second icon from the left).
  3. An audio player appears at the bottom-left of the screen and begins reading the article aloud.
  4. Use the player controls:
    • Forward button — jump ahead in the narration.
    • Backward button — jump back in the narration.
    • Play/Pause button — pause or resume the speech.
    • Speed options (on the right of the player) — choose a faster or slower playback rate.
