Where do I find the articles or content (or work) I have downloaded or saved in MyLOFT?
For Mobile App Users
Where downloads are saved
When you download a PDF or save an HTML full text or link in the MyLOFT mobile app, the item is saved in your Default Collection or in the Collection you selected during the saving process.
Access a saved PDF inside the MyLOFT app
- Open the MyLOFT app on your device.
- Go to Collections.
- Open the Collection that contains the saved item.
- Tap the saved article to view it in the MyLOFT PDF/Article Viewer.
Open a saved PDF in an external app
- Open the saved article in the MyLOFT app.
- Tap the options menu (typically shown as three dots or a similar menu icon).
- Choose Open with or Open in from the menu.
- Select the external PDF viewer app on your device to open the file there.
Note: Saved HTML articles and links can only be viewed directly inside the MyLOFT mobile app and cannot be opened in external apps.
For Web App Users (with Chrome/Edge Extension)
PDF and other downloads
When you download a PDF from the Web App or via the browser, the file is saved directly to your computer's local storage, for example your browser's default Downloads folder.
Saved HTML full text and links
- If you save an HTML full text or a link using the MyLOFT Chrome/Edge extension, the content is saved in your Default Collection or the Collection you selected while saving.
- View these saved items directly in the MyLOFT Web App by opening the appropriate Collection and selecting the saved item.
